About kz1300.cc/ Contact
My name is Stan Gielewski. I remember seeing photos of the mighty KZ1300 in magazines back in the 1980's. Studying to become a navy engineer, the massive engine of this bike reminded me in of the big marine engines. And the six shiny pipes were naturally irresistible, of course. Living behind the Iron Curtain, like most folks in Poland, I couldn't afford such an exquisite machine at the time.
I've had a very vibrant and interesting life. Being busy with countless projects, the memory of this bike got buried somewhere... until few years back, when I saw one locally for sale. It was a project bike, in a bad shape, but I couldn't resist. I took it home. The rest is history, as they say, and after countless hours of working on it, now I have a basically a brand new Kawasaki KZ1300. And I love it!
You could say I became obsessed with these bikes along the process. I love everything about these bike! From the look, to the sound and riding. This page is dedicated to my projects around them, plus a few extras. I decided to put all my KZ1300 related information in one place. After having some fun with choosing a domain name, I thought simple is best. A 'kz1300.cc' couldn't be a better fit! So here we are, me and my KZ1300.cc.
